We tend to lean heavily on our own understanding even though we have alternatively been given an invitation to lean into His solutions by acknowledging Him in all parts of our worlds. We have an opportunity to hand over our own conclusions and summations and to incline our ears to His heart.
He can see everywhere we can, ‘plus’ He can see everywhere we cannot. We can only contemplate the information in front of us or to the same height and depth that our imaginations are allowed to run wild, but He can think further, wider and deeper than our most complex thoughts or heightened philosophies.
We have been amazingly designed and lovingly put together, yes. We have been given minds with which to think and hearts with which to feel, but we were never meant to carry the full weight of the world and it’s governments on our shoulders—that was always, and will always be, Jesus’ task.
In Isaiah 9:6-8 it says: “For to us a Child shall be born, to us a Son shall be given; and the government shall be upon His shoulder, and His name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. There shall be no end to the increase of His government and of peace, [He shall rule] on the throne of David and over his kingdom, to establish it and to uphold it with justice and righteousness from that time forward and forevermore. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will accomplish this.”
We weren’t supposed to carry the weight of the world on our shoulders, but instead, we were designed to be sons and daughters. We were created to walk in the life and the light of His Kingdom.
We are not orphans; we have been adopted into His family and we have been given the opportunity to allow His Kingdom to manifest through us into the world. An absence of sons and daughters equals a vacuum in all aspects of society. It equals decay, destruction, manipulation, lawlessness, and a whole host of other antichrist issues. For example, the next time a riot breaks out, we should ask ourselves: Are we arguing with our spouses and children at home? If so, how is our disgust for one another at home any any different to the disgust displayed in groups of people on the streets? Both are the behaviour of people who are resisting the love of their True Father.
The next time a government steps into further control, we should ask ourselves: Do we micromanage or control others at home or at work? If so, how is our behaviour on this micro-scale any different to the macro-scale that is taking place around us?
What if we begin to lean into His understanding and in all of our ways acknowledge Him as our Father? Just how quickly would the world’s crooked paths be made straight? Prov 3:5-6
We are the salt of the earth. We are a city on a hill. We are fearfully and wonderfully made. We have been grafted into His family and we have been raised and seated in Heavenly places IN Christ Jesus. Such a privilege. Such an honour to be grafted into ‘the’ Lion of the Tribe of Judah—the King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
Wake up, sons and daughters. Stand up. Rise into the full stature and nature of your sonship and daughterhood and walk in the light as He is in the light. Understand your authority and speak from your grafting into the Person of love. Reflect Him into the world and watch the world change one moment, one circumstance and one person at a time.
It is time.
